As on of the active institutions representing the Chinese business community, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) also emphasizes in organizing and participating in welfare, cultural, educational and national unity activities besides promoting the development of economic and commercial activities.
It has become a yearly tradition for KLSCCCI to donate to charitable and welfare organizations, and to distribute ‘ang pau’ and ‘duit raya’ to old folks’ homes and orphanages in conjunction with the celebration of Lunar New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Over the years, KLSCCCI has also provided assistance to needy families during difficult times.
